Recently, my household finally got cable, and with access to children's programs in the Spanish language, discovered Pocoyo, a pre-school animated cartoon series.  It's about a very curious little boy, dressed all in blue and his adventures as he discovers how things work around him.  Most episodes end with the characters dancing, and each character has its own distinctive dance.  This is a sweet show, perfect for your Spanish Bilingual Baby or Toddler, and the clean drawings will probably also fascinate your young elementary school-aged children as well.  Wish I'd discovered this when my children were younger!  Hope you enjoy El Baile de Pocoyo!

Kids grow up so fast! First they start out cooing, then move on to babbling, and before you know it they start speaking! That’s when I started to worry about my son’s Spanish bilingualism, because I would hear him making lots of mistakes and I’d vacillate between the urge to correct  him (knowing then I would be correcting him all the time) and the desire to let him feel good that he is expressing himself and making himself understood. Fortunately, a friend and former Spanish teacher, provided some tips that I think many of you will find very helpful.
